I am a teacher now.

So far I have been accused of giving poptests because the students are black (which most aren't), have been called a Nazi and baby boo. one of the students in my building was killed tragically this weekend. Many students don't even show up to class. On the bright side, students have thanked me for explaining things, giving extra credit and have learned about plate tectonics, rocks, minerals (though some think crack rock is a mineral) earthquakes, volcanoes, weathering, and erosion. Today we learned the difference between tap water and bottled water. Most of the students think I am a huge Bitch. A few of the students who have been reported to be problematic by teachers have been great for me so far for me because they like science.
